"Trinity Christian Academy is the only school in Madison County that offers a non-denominational, Christian education from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. 'Training Young Champions for Christ' is not only the school’s motto, but also the core of its curriculum. It is my fervent hope that you prayerfully consider enrolling your children at Trinity Christian Academy."

Staring with the 2010-2011 school year, TCA added a special day each month to help build school spirit and support missions that spread the word of Christ. On the first Friday of each month, middle school and high school students are allowed to pay $2 to wear jeans and a TCA t-shirt instead of their regular uniform clothes. The money collected then goes to support missions. In the 2010-2011 the money was distributed among TCA Alumni that were working in full-time missions that required them to be self-supported. Four TCA alumni and their families benefited from the money collect during the school-year. Several of these alumni came to speak in chapel and shared with us the type of mission they were part of and how the money they had been given had helped. In the 2011-2012 school year, money raised from Mission Pride Days has continued to go towards supporting these alumni as well as going towards supporting the mission trip many of our students will be taking in the spring of 2012 to a mission in Texas. Mission Pride Day has helped to open the eyes of many students to how real of a difference they can make in the lives of others.
One of the alumni that has been supported through Mission Pride Day is Leah Anderson Baldwin from the Class of 2001. She, her husband Drew and their two daughters use their horse farm in one of the poorest areas of Kentucky to reach many for the cause of Christ. Leah sent the following message by email to share just how much the support of the student body of TCA has meant to them.
Leah writes:
"We have been so blessed this year by the school's giving. Being faith based missionaries we are always trusting (or trying to trust) that God will meet all of our needs, especially the unexpected ones. We have health insurance, but when Boone broke his arm in May and then needed surgery, we just had to rely on God to help us meet our 20%. And no doubt, each time a bill came in for his ER visit or his anesthetic or for follow up appointments and xrays, there was usually a check from Trinity or another supporter that met that need immediately. We almost have it all paid off and that is such a blessing to know. Also this year, we have taken on 3 more interns at the barn, so now we are up to 5, and with the money we were able to buy some Bible study curriculum for these kids, tickets to a Christian concert, and tickets to a Gospel Rodeo. Hugh blessings have come from that. Three of our interns have already accepted Jesus as their Savior, are coming to our Church and now are bringing their unchurched, and possibly unsaved parents!
This past week a lady in our Church Bible study that I have been leading shared with us that her husband hasn't been able to find a job and they have been living on $600 a month! I know things are bad around this area, and the country for that matter, but that hit home to me so much. They use food stamps and medicaid but that doesn't help keep the lights on or fix their car when its broken. She is a believer and brings her kids and nephews to our church, but the rest of her family are unsaved and she has been such a testimony to them that I felt like Satan was trying to break her down when three days in a row something broke on her car and then their phone was turned off and the lights were about to be, so we prayed about and it felt that God was leading us to encourage her to keep on believing that God will save her husband and until that day, to keep believing that God would watch over her and her needs. We were able to give her $200 we had from Trinity and another supporter. This is just one story from so many and we are so grateful we get to serve here!
God is doing some big things here and we thank you, the kids, and Trinity staff for helping us be here by supporting us financially!"
This testimony of this alumni truly shows that TCA is "Training young champions for Christ"!
